MOIRA technical and industrial workshop, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland
A Public Technical Workshop on Condition Monitoring of Complex Systems, combined with the 1st Industrial Workshop was held over three days from June 19-21, 2023, at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology GEO 3EM Research Center in Poland. The workshop showcased the latest developments in knowledge discovery methodologies, algorithms, and technologies related to monitoring large scale complex systems, with a specific focus on the mining industry.
Participants had the opportunity to delve into principles of SCADA, industrial networks, infrastructure networks, SCADA system components, and monitoring of mining machinery. The event featured expert lectures, including sessions on fault detection, noise analysis for condition monitoring, FMEA-based systematic and holistic analysis, and health monitoring. As an integral part of the workshop, fellows from the H2020 MOIRA project not only attended lectures by industry experts but also presented and discussed their research results. The workshop exemplified MOIRA’s commitment to advancing scientific and transferable skills, fostering industry collaboration, and contributing to the field of monitoring large scale complex systems.
