Second Public Industrial Course

The workshop highlights the developments of the MOIRA project, whose objective is to develop the next generation of knowledge discovery methodologies, algorithms, and technologies, enabling data-driven, plant-wide fleet monitoring, with a focus on real-time diagnostics and prognostics. This objective is achieved by having 15 early-stage researchers (ESRs) working closely and interacting frequently in this interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary area.

During these 3 days of workshops hosted at SAFRAN in France, the latest research results carried out by the project's ESRs were presented and discussed, covering advanced topics such as unsupervised fault detection, anomaly detection, operational modal analysis, and robotic force control. In addition, the event featured dedicated industrial sessions led by SAFRAN experts focusing on physics-informed machine learning and innovative diagnostic applications for aircraft engines, complemented by an exclusive tour of the SAFRAN research laboratories. The workshop was completed by a comprehensive Scientific-Skills Training course featuring expert seminars on end-to-end modeling, digital twins (SciTwin), the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs), and predictive maintenance in aeronautics.
